MAJ MESEC MATEMATIKE (M3) 2024.

Members of the LABOUR project team participated in the organization of the popular science event "Maj mesec matematike (M3)", which was held for the first time in Novi Sad under the slogan "Biotehnologija: Algoritmi prirode." The official opening was on May 14 at the "Svilara" cultural station and was attended by Mila Djisalov and Teodora Knežić. The details of the research carried out by our project were part of the exhibition prepared by the Serbian Center for the Promotion of Science.

66th INTERNATIONAL FAIR OF TECHNIQUES AND TECHNICAL ACHIEVEMENTS

The 66th International Fair of Techniques and Technical Achievements was held from May 21 to 24, 2024, in Belgrade, Serbia. It is the oldest technical and technological exhibition event in this part of Europe, specializing in the field of production technologies. The LABOUR project stand was part of the exhibition organized by the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia, which was dedicated to the projects of the Green Program of cooperation between science and industry.

48th FEBS CONGRESS

Dr. Ljiljana Šašić Zorić, leader of the LABOUR work package on LAMP GMO detection, presented the poster "Optimization of LAMP-based Detection of GMO in Agriculture" at the 48th FEBS Congress, which took place in Milan, Italy, from June 29 to July 3, 2024, under the slogan "Mining biochemistry for human health and well-being".

PRiME 2024

Dr. Zoran Pavlovic and Ana Kuprešanin participated in the PRiME Electrochemical Conference in Honolulu, Hawaii. Ana presented her poster titled "Electrochemical Detection of DNA in Agriculture Using LAMP-Based Amplification". The conference featured 4,854 abstracts, including 2,121 from students. Topics ranged from cutting-edge electrochemical biosensors to innovative energy storage solutions.

FoodTech 2024

: Dr. Ljiljana Šašić Zorić attended the 5th International Congress "Food Technology, Quality, and Safety — FoodTech 2024" held in Novi Sad, Serbia, from October 16-18. She presented our research with a poster titled "Colorimetric vs. Real-Time LAMP for detection of genetic modifications in soybean (Glycine max)".
